Dr. Kristin McClure
Dr. Kristin McClure grew up in Schaumburg and began working at local animal hospitals at the age of 16. She pursued her veterinary degree at the University of Illinois, graduating in 1996. During veterinary school, Dr. McClure completed an equine externship; however, an injury during that time led her to decide not to pursue equine medicine professionally.
Dr. McClure has been a valued member of the Golf Rose team since 1999. We are incredibly fortunate that she now shares her time between Bensenville Animal Hospital and Golf Rose, bringing her extensive experience and compassionate care to both teams.
At home, Dr. McClure stays busy with her son, Liam, and a delightful menagerie of pets, including two dogs—Coffee and Leonard (Lenny); three cats—Norton, Rosie, and Zoe; a cockatiel named Birdie; a hamster; and a Russian tortoise named Spotty.
In her free time, Dr. McClure enjoys outdoor adventures such as camping, hiking, and kayaking. She also loves curling up with a good story whenever she gets the chance!
